Trail Talk – 8/30/21

Tuesday August,30 Meeting:

• Selection for Senior Patrol Leader in the Boy Troop. You must be a Life Scout, there is no age requirement. You must be able to participate in 70% of the troop Activities.
• All scouts First class and up will need to sign up for Merit badge sessions. The following are being offered:
  • Camping
  • Cit. in Community
  • Cit. in Nation
  • Communication
  • Cooking
  • Environmental Science
  • Emergency Prep
  • Personal management and Family Life
  • Personal Fitness
  • Safety

Scouts that are Tenderfoot, 2nd class or working on thier First class will continue to work on rank advancement.

September 17-19, 2021 We will be camping with troop 287 at Yankee Springs group camp. The cost is $35 per person. This will be a great time to be with another troop and experience fun and games. Permission slip attached.

Pop Cans and bottles has been a very successful fundraiser and we will continue with this program. Drop off your cans and bottles behind the red trailer at the church.

Popcorn sales start Tuesday August 31 to the end of October. all profits from this sale will go directly to your account.

We have some free stuff for all the scouts, Sleeping bags, pads, uniforms and t-shirts, first come first serve. There will be a table set up by the scout room downstairs.

Starting September 7 all scouts and leaders must wear your Class A shirt to the meetings.
