Trail Talk – 6/6/22

Tuesday night Sherry, Hank and Brian will NOT be at the meeting. Sherry and I will be attending the Pre-Summer camp in Toledo. All forms have to be turned in to camp. If you have any outstanding forms Please bring them to the church by 3pm and put them in the troop mailbox. This is located on the main floor in the office area.

Jim Gluys will be the adult leader in charge and Derrick Townsend will be collecting for PentWater and Mammoth cave.

 

PENTWATER CAMPOUT:

This weekend campout is in Pentwater at the Hill and Hollow camp ground. Cost is $35. Things to do: swim, volleyball, basketball, go-karts, and video games.

go-Karts and video will require more money. We might also go to Mears State park on Saturday afternoon. All monies due Tuesday June 7.

MAMMOTH CAVE:

August 6-10, 2022. Cost is $175 per person and fee is now due. Adventure includes caving, amusement park, and historical items.

JERKY STICKS: 

All sticks are sold out. Please bring in all the money from the sale. Thanks

BOUNDARY WATERS:

Meeting for all participants July 5. 7PM at the church. please bring all your personal gear items and your backpacks.

SUMMER CAMP 2022

Start getting your gear ready for summer camp. Some items that you will need:

•         Mess Kit- plate, bowl, cup,and utensils.
•         Don’t Forget a swimsuit and towels.
•         Rain gear- no ponchos
•         Fishing poles?, We will have live Bait.
•         Money for Trading Post and Root Beer Cantana .
•         warm clothing for the cool nights.
•         Red Troop t-shirt. If you don’t have one, we do have them in stock in the troop”s trading post
•         You must wear your Class A shirt when we leave
•         Flashlight
•          Pillow

We will remind you of these items next week and a few more items to bring.

MERIT BADGE CLASSES:

JUNE 14 IS THE LAST DAY FOR WORKING ON OUR MERIT BADGE. AFTER SUMMER CAMP WE WILL BE OFFERING NON-REQUIRED MERIT BADGES.
