Trail Talk – 6/5/23

TUESDAY JUNE 6, 2023 MEETING

Sherry and Hank will not be at the meeting Tuesday night June 6. We will be attending the pre-summer camp meeting in Toledo, Ohio.

Jim Gluys will be in charge as the adult leader. Suzanne Suchety will be taking Sherry’s place to collect money and permission slips.

PENTWATER CAMPOUT:

JUNE 9-11, 2023 we will be camping in Pentwater, Mi. We will be leaving the church at 5:30pm on Friday June 9 and return Sunday June 11 at 1pm..

bring extra funds for go-karts, arcade, miniature golf, and the general store. There are 2 swimming pools that are heated. also Saturday June 10 if the weather is good we will be going to the Mears State park and hanging out on the beach.

Cost for this Trip is $40 per person due by June 6 with the permission slip..

SUMMER CAMP 2023

JUNE 18-24, 2023 IS SUMMER CAMP. Please meet in front of Portage Central high school on June 18 at 10AM. Scout packs should go in cars and adult leader packs can go in the trailer.

Please wear your Class A uniform with your neckerchief,You will be handed a camp hat when we leave.. Once we get to camp there will be a troop photo taken.

We will return home on June 24 at 11:30am athe the church.

PLEASE MAKE SURE ALL PAPERWORK IS TURNED IN.

SEABASE 2023 July 6-15

All transportation has been finalized and we will be headed to Seabase on July 6. Leaving the church at 7am. (eat Breakfast before we leave.. Make sure you have snorkels and mask for the trip.

Bring extra funds for breakfast and lunch on the way to seabase and back.

THERE WILL BE A SPECIAL MEETING ON JUNE 27 AT 7PM WITH ALL PARTICIPANTS AND PARENTS IN THE FELLOWSHIP HALL.

HOCKING HILLS

August 4-9 the troop mini adventure will be going to Hocking Hills state park in Ohio. This sounds like a fantastic trip from those who have gone before. The cost is $175 per person and must be paid by July 1m 2023. Pay today for an exciting trip.

PHILMONT 2024

Payment starting August 1, 2023 is $300 a month until payment is paid in full. There is a chance of 2 more openings available.
