SUMMER CAMP 2023

SUMMER CAMP STARTS THIS COMING SUNDAY JUNE 18, 2023. PLEASE MEET AT THE PORTAGE CENTRAL HIGH SCHOOL PARKING LOT IN FRONT OF THE BUILDING AT 10:00AM. PLEASE WEAR CLASS A SHIRT WITH A CLASS B T-SHIRT. PLEASE PACK YOUR SWIMSUIT TOWARDS THE TOP OF YOUR DUFFLE BAG OR BACKPACK. ONCE WE GET TO THE CAMP WE WILL CHECK IN AND HAVE OUR TROOP 244 PICTURE TAKEN. 

AFTER THE PICTURE WE WILL PROCEED TO THE CAMPSITE. YOU ARE EXPECTED TO CARRY YOUR GEAR TO THE CAMPSITE FROM THE PARKING LOT.  WE WILL HAVE A DELI SANDWICH THAT YOU CAN MAKE. AFTER WE GET TO THE SITE CHANGE INTO YOUR SWIMSUIT AND BE PREPARED TO GO TO THE POOL FOR THE SWIMCHECK. AFTER THE SWIMCHECK WE WILL SET UP THE CAMP.

WHEN YOU CHECK IN WITH SHERRY ON SUNDAY YOU WILL RECEIVE A CAMP HAT TO BE WORN FOR THE PICTURE AT CAMP.

TUESDAY JUNE 13 THERE WILL BE NO MEETING AT THE CHURCH.

SEABASE 2023

There will be a meeting for all participants on Tuesday June 27 at 7pm during the meeting to remind you of things to get ready for Seabase.

July 6 Thursday we will leave for Seabase at 7am from the church.

We will return from Seabase on July 15 Saturday at approx 7pm.

Please be prepared to bring money for Thursday lunch, Friday breakfast and lunch, Saturday breakfast and lunch.

On the return trip you will need money for Friday breakfast and lunch and Saturday breakfast and lunch.

Also if you want souvenirs bring money for that. There is a Seabase trading post available.

HOCKING HILLS

August 4, 2023 there is a trip to Hocking Hills state park in Ohio, the fee is $175 per person. Payable by July 1, 2023. We will return on August 9, 2023.

PHILMONT 2024

Philmont is scheduled for June 27, 2024 until July 14, 2024 Cost is $2000 per person. next payment due is August 1st $300 and every month until payment is paid in full.
