Trail Talk – 4/9/18

Welcome back from Winter Break (sorry I mean Spring break) The current weather confused me up.

Tuesday meeting, if you did not sign up for a merit badge class you can do this on Tuesday.
Second year scouts will be working on First Aid and first years scouts will continue with the Tenderfoot rank advancement.

If you are a older scout who completed all the required Eagle Merit badges you can sign up for the STEM program (they are currently working on building a Drone) or can join the venture crew.

Please return all merit badges books if you are not working on that merit badge, this is so others can use the book. do not put the book back on the shelve, return them in the box by the library. Thanks

April 17 is our is Our Summer camp meeting. starts at 7pm. All scouts going to summer camp and with there parents are expected to attend this meeting. All leaders going to camp will need to be there. This meeting will go over information you will need to know about camp. Also you will pick merit badges at this meeting. ( you can pick up a list of the merit badges offered at the table downstairs.) so you can select them prior to the meeting. Also the final payment camp is due at this meeting, Total cost of camp is $340 youth and $170 adults.
Sheri Evans will be collecting remaining funds, physical forms and permission slips at the table by the scoutroom.

April 21 is Adopt a Highway day, We currently clean up the section of highway in Schoolcraft. You must be 12 years and older to do this. Also we need parents to volunteer to help and drive along the route. PLEASE SIGN UP ON THE SIGNUP BOARD over the next couple of weeks.

April 27-29 is our campout at camp Pioneer. Our duty will be to clean up the campsite Klewer for summer camp, Our campsite has over 18 large trees that were cut down, so we need as must help as possible. THERE IS NO CHARGE FOR THIS CAMPOUT. We do need you to sign up so we can have a idea for food. Also this is a tenting weekend, (no Cabin). Please sign up by April 24.
