This is a good time to follow the scout law and oath at home, remember to be friendly, kind and obedient. Its difficult at times to stay in the same place for any period of time, but we must remain diligent, calm, and brave..

I HAVE ALREADY SPOKE TO SOME OF YOU ON THE PHONE AND MY GOAL IS TO TALK TO EVERYONE, IF YOU HAVE NOT RECEIVED A CALL YET YOU CAN ALWAYS CALL ME. PLEASE MAKE SURE A PARENT IS ALSO ON THE LINE.USE YOUR SPEAKER PHONE.

Some of the things you can do at home: Work on a merit badge, some of you have already been contacted by your counselor to finish the merit badges you were working on, if you did hear from them please call or email your counselor. I would also suggest that everyone work on a merit badge at this time. All you need to do is pick one, email me for approval, and then go to a website called (usscouting.org). here you go through the merit badge list, pick a merit badge, download the requirements and workbook. It is very important that you call me for approval so that proper procedures can be followed.
SET A GOAL FOR YOURSELF TO EARN 2-3 MERIT BADGES DURING THIS TIME. I know that seems like a lot but you do have some time on your hands.

Home repairs (help out your family with projects around the house. these are just a few of the examples
Scouts that are working on their T21 rank advancement can also work on Merit badges at this time, again just email or call me for approval.

Summer camp is still planned. We are collecting the fees that were original due by April 15, that has been moved to May 1, cost is $350 per scout and $150 per adult. I have been told that if camp is canceled any money collected will be refunded. I also know that some of you might have some difficult times, because maybe you are not working right now, Please let me know how we can help, we are in this together and we are here to help.

The troop is working on a digital communication meetings Hopefully we can you together for these digital meetings, Parents must also attend these virtual meetings. If anyone have ideas to help the program call me and we will see if it can happen
