Trail Talk – 11/4/19
GET THE MOST OUT OF SCOUTING “BE PREPARED” BE ACTIVE
Scoutmaster Minute:
Some times I hear from scouts that a certain campout or troop meeting is not very interesting. Well my response is “WHAT DID YOU DO TO MAKE IT INTERESTING”. You can stand by the sidelines and do nothing or you get involved. Scouting is about leadership, teamwork and learning new skills. Ask yourself the questions What can I do to make scouting fun and interesting? If you expect others do make the plans all the time you can become disinterested and I hate this word “boarded”. Step up and help Troop 244 do more, learn more skills, have fun, more adventures. its up to you to make the difference. How you involve yourself today will affect you in the future: jobs, college, family life and goals. STAND OUT AND MAKE IT HAPPEN.
This Saturday CJ Carrel will be doing his Eagle project at Kalamazoo Christian high school. from 10:30am to 3Pm. He will be installing benches and do landscaping, Bring a shovel, Gloves, work clothes. Pizza and pop will be provided for lunch. Plus you earn service hours, Bring a friend.
