CRANHILL RANCH WEEKEND

Please be at the church at 5pm on Friday Oct. 28, 2022. Be prepared for any kind of weather. Please make sure you bring the following stuff:

• Boots
• Long pants for the horsemanship MB
• Gloves
• Hat
• Sleeping bag
• Pillow
• Pad
• Extra clothing to wear after the Horsemanship MB.

REGISTRATION FEES

THE TROOP IS CURRENTLY RECHARTING AND ALL FEES FOR 2023 ARE DUE BY nOVEMBER 1, 2022.

YOUTH FEES $150 ADULTS $50. PLEASE PAY PROMPTLY.

CHARTING ORGANIZATIONAL CHANGE 

We are now officially recharting with “Friends of Troop 244”  we will still meet at the Pathfinder church.

POPCORN SALES

All popcorn orders are due this Tuesday Oct. 25, 2022. If you do not TURN IN THE  orders you will lose any orders you took. Please turn the orders to Brandon Beery at the church. He will be there by 6:30pm.

NOVEMBER CAMPOUT

We will be camping at Camp Pioneer on November 18-20. We have rented 2 cabins. You may tent if you like. Cost will be $40 per person.

SPECIAL REQUEST:

The past few years National and Michigan crossroads councils have increased the fees for joining scouting.. We tried to offset the general fund by collecting pop cans and bottles. We will continue to take pop cans and bottles but that amount of dollars raised cannot support the general fund.

The general fund is used to cut costs on some campouts, purchase new equipment, office supplies and general items to run the troop.

We are asking that every scout pay a $50 fee to help out the general fund.   This fee is due by January 1, 2023.  This fee is separate from the registration fees. This will be tax deductible. Your help with this fee will be greatly appreciated. Our troop is growing which is great news. Let’s continue to grow and help out scouts to achieve their goals and ambitions.
