Trail Talk – 1/18/21

SCOUTMASTER MINUTE:

I would like to reassure everyone of our commitment for the safety of all our scouts and leaders. It is a constant and a very important part of our program. We do our best to inform, talk about safety issues and being prepared for an event.

Jim Gluys is the Unit safety officer and has done a great job in making sure we stay safe. Our troop is the only one that has a Safety officer position in the country. That is our commitment to you and your scouts. If you have any questions or concerns please direct them to Me (Hank). Thank you all for your continued support.

Sherry and Hank will be at the church at 6pm to 7:30pm to collect fees.

I have noticed that some scouts are not meeting with us virtually, even though you have all the merit badges that we are teaching, we do ask you to attend the meeting. At Least the general session. You can also work on a non-required merit badge, just let me know.  We will meet Virtually on Tuesday Jan. 19. Times listed below.

Continue to support the troop with your pop cans and bottle deposits. Thanks

Philmont next payment of $300 is Due by Feb. 1, 2021

Summer camp 2021.
June 20-26, 2021
Location: Camp Pioneer
Cost for camp will be $360 youth and $150 adults.
Payment due by April 6, 2021.
You can start paying now in a payment plan. $120 per month (February,March, April) or pay the full amount

Our Next Campout is February 12-14, 2021 at Camp Pioneer. We have 3 cabins reserved, so that we have plenty of social distancing.
The Cost for this trip is $35 per person. Permission Slip attached
